CBORD Executive Management - Bruce Lane
Bruce is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of CBORD, as well as a partner and Secretary of the corporation. He served as Vice President of the Transaction Processing Systems division from 1985 to 2004. His responsibilities include the executive oversight of TPS as well as management of Marketing and IT. Bruce is also involved in identifying and bringing into the CBORD family new products and companies through acquisitions.
Prior to joining CBORD in 1985, Bruce was president of Marquette Packaging Company, headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a supplier of packaging materials to the footwear, bakery, and industrial markets and specialized printing and packaging services. He served as assistant to the president for sales and marketing for the Allen Edmonds Shoe Corporation in Port Washington, Wisconsin, in 1982 and 1983, and as vice president and chief operating officer of CIPI, Ltd., an international market development firm headquartered in Milwaukee, from 1980 to 1982. He was director of the International Trade Office of the State of Wisconsin Business Development Department before 1980.
Bruce received a bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut in Storrs in 1975, majoring in Latin American studies. He received his master's degree in international relations from The Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in Washington, D.C., in 1977.
Bruce loves to be a father and a kid with his children, Daniel, Katie, Denton and Andy.
