John Alexander Wins Technology Entrepreneur of the Year

Ithaca, New York—John Alexander, President of The CBORD Group, Inc., won Ernst and Young’s Technology Entrepreneur Of The Year® award last night at the Hyatt Regency in Rochester, NY. John was among 24 distinguished entrepreneur finalists. A winner was selected for each of nine industry categories in the Upstate NY region. Ernst & Young presents its annual Entrepreneur Of The Year® award to the most successful and innovative entrepreneurial business leaders worldwide.

After an evening of pomp and circumstance, including an Ernst & Young-sponsored red carpet treatment and limo ride to the event, John humbly remarked, "This award is a special honor. I wish that all of my employees, business partners, and clients could have been there to receive the award with me, as it truly represents 28 years of their dedication to CBORD’s success."

The regional finalists are candidates for the National award, which will be announced in November in Palm Springs, CA.
