Mammoth Ski Resort Chooses HMS

Ithaca, New York—The CBORD Group, Inc., is pleased to announce that Mammoth Lakes Ski Resort in Mammoth, CA, has purchased CBORD's Housing Management System, HMS CBORD, to help manage their employee residential properties at the resort. Headquartered in Ithaca, New York, The CBORD Group is the leading supplier of housing management systems and campus-wide ID systems at well over 500 colleges, universities, and properties across the United States and Canada.

Mammoth Lakes has purchased all six modules of HMS: the Facilities and Residents module, the Automatic Assignments module, the Data Interface modules, the Room Inspection module, the Financial Transactions module, and the Financial Transactions Batch Processing module. According to Michael Otoshi, General Manager of North Village Properties, she is "...excited to use the modules of HMS to provide a smoother, seamless total package for managing their employee units."

The resort has five hundred hotel guest units and four hundred units for employees. HMS will be used to make employee roommate matches using the Automatic Assignments module. Using the Data Interface module information will be able to be distributed regarding employee housing to personnel, payroll and other departments. The accounting functions of HMS will also be put to use to calculate fees and send them to the accounting system for billing.
